Comfortably Numb

It was 6am in Doha airport. I was in transit for a flight from Roma to Kuwait, managed only 2 hours sleep on the plane, so I decided the time was right to do something else in airports than - WAIT !

My teeth were furry, skin sticky and eyes bulbous in that twilight zone known by so many travellers. Eventually the multitudes at the same airport gate boarded their plane and something became clear in front of me : something which until now I had taken little notice of.......a group of seats.

Someone -in fact many people much like myself - had left home one morning and gone to work. These people were responsible for designing, producing, marketing, selling these seats.  So - no different from 90% of products we see day to day in our lives.

So why do we not hear more about all these unique and different seats we sit on in airports ? 

airportseats(dot)com is the result : created to study and exhibit the design talent, moreover the absolute uniqueness of the seats we rest our butts on while waiting for a plane.
